Where in the World is DBA Goth Girl- Sept 11-23

Tim and I just arrived back in Colorado yesterday and just arrived-  as in Grand Junction, Colorado on the western border of Utah.  Hauling a 42Ft. 5th wheel means that you make some considerations on how far you can go and how far you want to go.

It’s going to be a busy couple of weeks and this is what’s in the plans:

Microsoft Education Data Summit

Where in the World Has Goth Geek Girl Been

I’m on track to fly home tomorrow, March 11th after nine days and three events.  I’m pretty exhausted and just ready to go home and catch up on some sleep…:)

I started out last weekend in Victoria BC and was thrilled to be on this emerald island of the Pacific Northwest.  British Columbia is gorgeous as it is, but Victoria is a special place that quickly became one of my favorite places in the world.

Where in the World is Goth Geek Girl, Week #38

As we come upon Oracle Open World at the end of the month, I’m busy with a number of events and tasks.

I spoke at the Microservices, Containers and DevOps Summit in Denver yesterday and will be traveling to San Diego, California to speak at SQL Saturday #661 this weekend.  I love the Microsoft events, but not sure my family loves the loss of my weekend time with them half as much.

Iceland is Awesome….and Colder than Utah

I ended up speaking at two events this last week.  Now if timezones and flights weren’t enough to confuse someone, I was speaking at both an Oracle AND a SQL Server event- yeah, that’s how I roll these days.
